Bread Recipes – Bread Roll / Bread Pakoda

 Bread roll recipe or Bread Pakoda is a tea time snack loved by all. Ideal for serving with cups of steaming hot tea. You can even make this from leftover bread.

Bread Rolls with Cheese dips and Heinz tomato ketchup

You will need:

Bread slices – 10
Boiled Potato – 1
Garlic – 4 pods
Red chilly powder
Chopped Cilantro  ( Dhania )
Curry leaves ( optional )
Chickpea flour ( besan ) – 3 small cups
Turmeric powder

How to prepare bread rolls

Make a batter of gram flour and keep aside. Pound the garlic pods, slightly. Mix together the bread slices, boiled potato, crushed garlic, chilly powder, turmeric powder, chopped cilantro and salt to form a dough. Make rolls from this dough.

Heat some oil in a frying pan. Dip each roll in the batter and deep fry in oil till golden brown. Serve hot with yummy cheese dips and Heinz tomato ketchup or Maggi tamarind sauce.
